Keeping things ticking over

I've just done a mammoth update of the blog covering the whole Christmas period. Hope you like it. I've also added photos to the Christmas Day entry. Luckily not much has happened to me this week so you've not missed out on much. Though I found out on Friday that I've been taken on by the University temping agency which means I officially work for UBC now, with benefits and union membership and everything. Chances are my current job will come to an end soon so this has come at just the right time.

Hope you're all coping with the post Christmas/New Year come down. I've got no money as usual but since when as that stopped me enjoying myself. Oh yeah, most times. Damn!

Howdy old bean. Very brave on the whole polar swim. I have taken to wearing two jumpers to work as the heating is failing where it was so efficient during summer. January is a fun month of eating christmas residue!

Sadly there is no Christmas residue. It was consumed by messers Andy, Andy's Dad and me long before New Year.

Greedy bastard... I have only just got through the christmas chocks from the children. That's what you need: Children, lots of children.
