So long, and thanks for all the fish

On Hannah's last day we decided to take it easy and have a wander along the beach and into town. It was a glorious day and we took it easy. Hannah had a ten hour flight to look forward to so wasn't keen to do anything too crazy. In the afternoon we went for a lovely lunch and I then took to the airport and sent her back to Blighty.

It was great having Hannah over to visit. I think she liked Vancouver (she was certainly very lucky with the weather) and she commented how content I seemed. This was nice to hear. Her visit coincided with our 6 month anniversary of arriving in Canada. Its been a fun 6 months with hopefully an even more fun 6 months to come. I think many of us have been thinking about our decision to run away from home and spend a year here and Hannah confirmed what I already knew, what a right decision it was.
