It seems I won the great Blog Election of 2006 (see Simon's Blog). Admittedly Simon actually got more votes but he decided he had an unfair advantage as it was his blog. Now there goes a true democrat.

I was born and brought up in East London. Between 1999 and 2001 I went to University in Southampton, graduating with a BSc in Politics (yes it's a science, the oldest science of all...). After University I moved back to London, worked for a few years as a 'Project Co-ordinator' with an education charity. A job allowed me to move into a house in Leytonstone (hello to the Lytton Rd boys) and practice my table footbal skills. I was average to good. In March 2005 the Lytton Road house members went their separate ways and I moved back in with my parents while I worked out what to do. After 2 weeks of receiving messages from friends abroad living it up (including all my old house mates) I decided that if you can't beat them, join them and in October 2005 I moved to the wet but lovely Canadian city of Vancouver. A year later and I'm back from my adventure, adjusting to life back in the UK.
