We're all going hock-hock--hock- HockEY!
Its been a quiet week in Pope and Bull towers. The rain has lashed down pretty much non-stop all week and I started to run out of money as I adjusted from being paid once a week to twice a month (roll on the 8th of Feb, please God roll on). Friday was very much a 'lets have a relatively quiet night in and conserve money' night. So of course we invited 10 people over and they all brought beer. I remember playing tumbling tower, trying to teach Jade the Steps 'Tragedy' dance (and failing) and shouting 'I've got gypsy blood' a lot. The gypsy blood comments came from the fact that Andy was given a set of Tarot cards by work as a present. Yes, he works for the Devil in one of his manys business interests in North America. Well they weren't actually Tarot cards, more of a version of them. Still they threw up some interesting predictions, including that someone I know is to become a superhero called the 'Troubleshooter'. I want divulge his secret identity though, I promised Chris I would take it to the grave with me. So for a quiet night it turned out to be quite loud. Guess we were celebrating Gavin getting a full time job. He even didn't come out that night as he was working early the next day. Suddenly, he's a career man.
On Saturday Andy, Simon, Paul and myself went back to our old hostel to buy Hockey tickets. I know I moaned about that hostel loads on this very blog but I take some of it back for the sweet deal they do on Hockey tickets. Basically its practically impossible to see Canucks games without spending a silly amount of money, but the hostel are given some at the beginning of the season to sell to its members. So we got tickets for the Minnesota Wild game on February 12th. Can't wait. And its on my list! Yay!
By the way, the title is a line of a song I made up in my head about Hockey. I'll try to get everyone to sing it at the game.

On other matters, I believe Quiffy is a figment of your imagination. There is no evidence that this so called programme ever existed.
You are thinking of the hairstyle.
