One for the Mums

For some reason Chimply the Best is quite popular with Mums. I know for a fact Mrs Banks and Mrs Farthing are regulars. I also have heard that Mrs Ashby occasionally stops by (hello Mrs Ashby!) and Mrs Hodge. Even my own Mum sometimes looks in. I take this as a huge compliment as, lets be honest, mum's know best so I must be doing something right (or simply putting lots of photos of their kids up on here). Andy too gets lots of mum visits. We're obviously the Paul McCartney of blogs rather than the John Lennon. I'm happy with that though.

Sadly, despite Mrs Banks and Mrs Farthing visiting Vancouver, I've never actually had the chance to meet one of these mums, until last Saturday that is. Liz's mum Pearl has been over with her husband Mark visiting Liz for the last three weeks. They've been all over the place (probably seeing more of BC than I have) and on their last night we all went for a few drinks in Gas Town. We had a great night in a bar called the Black Frog despite me eating some fishballs which I spent the rest of the night regretting. Urgh.
